ہم نے ایسی بھی کیا خطا کر دی
جس پر تم نے یہ انتہا کر دی
اتنی چاہت سے چنا تھا تمھیں لاکھوں میں
اتنے سپنے تھے ان جاگتی آنکھوں میں
پیار کی وہ دنیا کیوں فنا کر دی
ہم نے ایسی بھی کیا خطا کر دی
جس پر تم نے یہ انتہا کر دی
کوئ تو ھم کو الزام دیا ہوتا
ھم نے بھی جان جاں شکوہ نہ کیا ھوتا

Half the way I passed
Now what I am thinking
Continue towards unknown destination
Or return back
Thought process is a mystery
Started the journey after careful thinking
Selected the way from hundred options
Now the same thought is warning me
Darkness ahead
Difficult to return back
Thought is going to be diminished
And my destination is…. Half Journey.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, BUT UNBOWED
